A secure democratic Net is a fundamental right

The presentation before the commission of infrastructure has taken place today. The presentation was a working document that was used to illustrate certain points. The strict interpretation of some of the points can lead to several misconceptions. For this reason the working document has to be reworked but under the time of stress and in free time, not everything one says will be as clear as defined, surely not if you want to explain a complex issue in 10 minutes. For this reason it would be better in the discussion that one shouldn't focus on the presentation but on the constructive intentions and positive approach that were the basis of the work of me and so many others.

First there was the presentation by Mr Beirens who gave a factual overview of the botnetworks and the organisational problems that he is facing. Afterwards it was my turn in which I raised several issues. These seem to have captured the attention.

Hereby we have hoped to have given some ideas by which the Belgian Internet can be improved. I thank for the opportunity and the help from the others.
