A secure democratic Net is a fundamental right

According to several online sources the online bank account of the French President was compromised in september. It seems if you are reading besides the lines that they succeeded in getting access to his account. This could have been done by phishing (he or one of his aides would have clicked on an email asking for the logons) or they would have manipulated the password retrieval method.

It seems french banks have a lot to learn about online security from us.... :) but we are now owned by them or partnered with them. Let's hope their security is learning lessons from us and not giving their 'lessons' to us.
