new kind of Cert : Botnet Cleaning Center
So what do you do if you have hundreds of thousands of IP addresses that seem to be infected by one or several botnets or malware ? You need to coordinate the cleaning of all those servers and computers. In Japan they wanted to go fast forward and put up a special coordination center for that. THe only weakness I see is that they use email to contact the users. For Japanspecific bots it can become childplay to imitate those emails or to keep them from being delivered. I think a letter from your ISP would be better. It should be safer. Read this or go here
