how does an agreement between antikiddieporn organisation and ISP look about
We read a lot about agreements between ISP's and organisations (mostly private) that claim they are fighting against kiddieporn, but we never really know what is in these agreements. The problem with these things are twofold. First we all are against kiddieporn in all its forms, let that be clear. But you can't use whatever means to get to your goal. Even the best intentions can make life a living hell. So even if kiddieporn is awful and all that, it doesn't mean that we should have to give up essential freedoms and privacyprotections to 'private' organisations without any oversight. Secondly the problem stays with the definition of kiddieporn. In a world where in some countries girls of 9 year old are married to man above 60 while in other parts of the world any sexual intercourse before 16 or marriage is strictly forbidden by law, the definition of kiddieporn may be as diverse as the definition of when a girl becomes an adult. It is important in filtering that you clearly define what you are going to filter on what basis and why so that all involved parties understand what is being done and why and on which basis the selection has been done.
I also believe that the pornhosters has to be put before their responsabilities if they host forums and filesharing.
