Obama and McCains computers were hacked in mid-campaign
Those from McCain also, but who cares about that nowadays ?
The incident goes back to mid-august. This leaves some months
"You have a problem way bigger than what you understand," an agent told Obama's team, according to Newsweek. Attacks on both campaigns were similar in that investigators believed a foreign entity or organization sought to steal information on policy positions. Such information could be used in negotiations with the future administration. "You have been compromised, and a serious amount of files have been loaded off your system." A security firm retained by the Obama campaign took steps to secure its computer system and end the intrusion. sources
