secure email is in text format not html

Another reason is now given why secure emails are given in text format and not html. I know Html lets you insert pictures, links and code and make it look like a real webpage or newsletter, but that are all gimmicks.

Html email lets you also insert malicious links, malware code and redirects or popups and more of that nice stuff.

Websense says that its researchers are seeing that attachments with malware code are being replaced in spam with links to downloads. The real link is obfuscated and not visible.
