nearly 100 .be sites hacked in 2 days, some police websites

by the way, we stay at orange, if you thought the internet was secure, think again
Ok we admit they are mostly all on the two servers that were hacked but if you are an official site or a business site you don't do shared hosting. You take dedicated hosting with a real secure hosting firm. There are police sites, OCMW sites and webshop sites between the victims.
It is also very re-assuring that webhosters that have been warned since a few weeks that they should review their security under windows 2003 still are vulnerable. Don't be surprised that you get hacked. And the same goes for the Joomla sites. And Apache sites. We have been publishing all those critical holes for weeks now.
Maybe all govenmental sites should be obliged to host only on certified secure hosts and the same should go for any website that gets any money or advertising from any public instance.
And maybe we should also oblige hosters to bring down websites that have still hacked or defaced pages after some weeks. If the webadmins don't care a cent about their security, they have no business being on the web with their own code or configuration. They should just put in text in a webenvironment that is secured and monitored by professionals.
So this is the lucky hacker of the month, didn't know he brought down police sites, I suppose. (our information comes from http://www.zone-h.com)
