website Police of Torhout hacked

The person who was interviewed said that she didn't know how it happened but she assured that no confidential information was lost. She said that the website was made according the security rules of the federal technical norms for all local policeforces.
Okay, some questions here
1. Did the FCCU make a report and do the analysis and correct the situation and take all necessary precautions ? Did the websites of the police that have the same characteristics (server, OS) get a warning that their systems will also be under attack ?
2. Wouldn't it be better if all these police websites would be under one umbrella like police.be or politie.be with subdomains for each city example (Gent.politie.be, liege.police.be, .....) so that the monitoring, defense and backup services could be centralised and wouldn't depend on the capacities and budgets of each policeforce or policezone.
And this could be the question for many institutions and organisations. It would also be much cheapier, surely in ROI.

La guerre des flics There is federal police, and there is local police. The head of each local police department is the mayor. 'nuff said, methinks.
