My twitter and how to organize information on and from twitter (following more than 1000 newsfeeds)

Where to find me at twitter

twitter.com/mailforlen

the most interesting part is the selection of lists - that you can also follow - of good and active twitterfeeds and you can around 200 feeds or tweets in these lists. I personally only follow now and than an active hackergroup who is on a campaign - doing stuff I should see immediately but a few thousand other twitterers are in those lists

Do I tweet - well more - especially if I don't want to clutter up my blog my individual thoughts or experiments with twitter. I also retweet more often a selection of tweets that are interesting.

this is the list of lists

@mailforlen/ukriots official feeds about the security situation

@mailforlen/proxies new public proxies

@mailforlen/documents new documents mostly also my scribd.com collection

@mailforlen/wikileaks Anonymous, Lulzsec, antisec, wikileaks news

@mailforlen/edemocracy evoting, edemocracy, participation, egov2.0

@mailforlen/securitefr securitynews en français

@mailforlen/exploits new exploits and vulnerabilities

@mailforlen/secmagz news from security-publications

@mailforlen/security-events security events

@mailforlen/security securitybloggers

But if you think that this too much - which I understand completely I use the twittertimes to select every hour the most important postings without having all these tweets among mine and others

members means the number of twitterfeeds that are in that list

You can subscribe to each list - even by Rss

is it really working ? not perfectly but it gives the possibility to have an hourly view of the issues and news that have the most attention each hour in these specific feeds (because twitter is one big echochamber and also full ot lulz and egotripping - these are professional lists with news from professional people or feeds)

exploits
technews
arab revolts
security
